On 11/7/10 I ordered a dye kit-match swatch.I immediately mailed a swatch from my dress.
My event was 12/18. Plenty of time to receive the kit and dye the shoes, right? Having heard nothing, I called on 11/19. Told me they received the swatch and product would ship.
Called back on 11/30 since product still not received. Delle said product would ship 12/1. No product so called 12/6 and left message requesting tracking number or to cancel. This is the email response I received: "Your shoe dye kit has been shipped, but due to a glitch in the system, the tracking numbers did not get recorded.
We are trying to get caught up with the re-listing of the numbers, but because of the Christmas shipping, we are doing the best we can with a limited staff due to illness, temporary help, etc. We are working to get the tracking numbers on. Once the number has been re-listed, you should receive an automatic email containing the number. Rest assured that your dye kit is on its way and will arrive prior to you need date.
Delle Customer Service STM, llc." Today, 12/13, I have not received an email but the website now says it was shipped 12/11. USPS has no record of it yet. Today is Monday and my event is Saturday! I should note that customer service repeatedly accused my phone number of disconnecting so they were unable to contact me.
I have had that number for 4+ years w/o problems. Priority Mail takes 3 days. At this rate, if it shipped today, I will receive it Thursday 12/16.
Then I have TWO days to dye these shoes and make sure they're right.Cutting it kind of close, don't you think?
