On Wednesday, September 7, 2011, I ordered a crown & scepter for my daughter's sweet 16.I paid for two fed ex.

Of course the company charged my credit card right away. Saturday, September 10, no item. I called the company. Left over a dozen messsages and no response.

I called every day until finally, on Wednesday the 14, I get a call back from Delle. She said she wa out of office and did not know what happened. But she assured me that the item was delivered on Monday, the 12 and I should have be receiving it either the 14, no later than the 15. My daughter's event was the 16.

She assured me that it would be on time. I asked her for a tracking number, and Delle responded that she had none. funny, I always get a tracking number for any order I place with other companies. I asked her for a refund for the fed Ex charge.

She said her company does not offer that. Funny, her web site gives you that obtion at check out. I demanded the refund for the fed ex. She finally said she would take care of it.

Well, my daughter's event came, and NO CROWN NO SCEPTER.My child's birthday was ruin.

The one decoration I had at my destination wedding did not arrive. I ordered 12,000 silk petals in August and they did not arrive at all for my October wedding. Even though the company tracking info said they were delivered and sent back to the warehouse. It is now late March and I have not received a refund.

The customer service lady sounds like she is watching wheel of fortune on her couch, whilst her co workers are: in another building, on vacation, phone is off the hook, do not know their phone number etc etc.

One word: unprofessional. I am appalled I used this vendor. Scammers!

My client and I tried to go through this company for a simply delivery.The items were ordered 2 weeks prior.

A few days ago, we called to make sure they were being shipped, and asked for honesty, b/c we could have ordered the items elsewhere and paid an overnight fee. She assured us they would be delivered. Of course, nothing was ever delivered, and now we are waiting to see if accounting will grant a refund. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!

They flat out lied, they don't know how to run a business and could care less what it costs you.

On 11/7/10 I ordered a dye kit-match swatch.I immediately mailed a swatch from my dress.

My event was 12/18. Plenty of time to receive the kit and dye the shoes, right? Having heard nothing, I called on 11/19. Told me they received the swatch and product would ship.

Called back on 11/30 since product still not received. Delle said product would ship 12/1. No product so called 12/6 and left message requesting tracking number or to cancel. This is the email response I received: "Your shoe dye kit has been shipped, but due to a glitch in the system, the tracking numbers did not get recorded.

We are trying to get caught up with the re-listing of the numbers, but because of the Christmas shipping, we are doing the best we can with a limited staff due to illness, temporary help, etc. We are working to get the tracking numbers on. Once the number has been re-listed, you should receive an automatic email containing the number. Rest assured that your dye kit is on its way and will arrive prior to you need date.

Delle Customer Service STM, llc." Today, 12/13, I have not received an email but the website now says it was shipped 12/11. USPS has no record of it yet. Today is Monday and my event is Saturday! I should note that customer service repeatedly accused my phone number of disconnecting so they were unable to contact me.

I have had that number for 4+ years w/o problems. Priority Mail takes 3 days. At this rate, if it shipped today, I will receive it Thursday 12/16.

Then I have TWO days to dye these shoes and make sure they're right.Cutting it kind of close, don't you think?

This company is a fraud. It is now 5 months since the order (that never arrived) was placed and I have still not received a refund nor heard back from anyone at Steps For Memories. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

12/13 UPDATE: Kit was received today via USPS.However, website has not updated.

What kind of operation is this?

The customer service and constant excuses were deplorable.I will NOT use this company again and suggest others research alternative options before using Steps-to-Memories.
